proALPHA to Expand Their Portfolio with eProcurement, SRM, and Quality Management
proALPHA, one of the leading providers of ERP software for small and mid-sized enterprises, are expanding their portfolio with solutions for quality management, eProcurement, and supplier relationship management (SRM). proALPHA has signed agreements with Böhme & Weihs and curecomp, hence extending the company group.
The company Böhme & Weihs is based in Wuppertal and has specialized in the development and operation of innovative software solutions for quality and production management since 1985. More than 30,000 users around the globe are currently working with the solution CASQ-it. Besides the headquarters in Wuppertal, Böhme & Weihs also has a branch office in Aalen as well as offices in France and Russia.
Since 2002, the Linz-based company curecomp has specialized in the development and operation of innovative software-as-a-service solutions (SaaS) for the digitalization and automation of operative and strategic procurement processes in the manufacturing industry. More than 5,000 users worldwide are currently working with the eProcurement and SRM solution clevercure. Companies like Palfinger, Fronius International, Putzmeister, Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug, Rosenbauer International, Netzsch or Flottweg – to name just a few – are putting their trust in the comprehensive, innovative and highly flexible eProcurement and SRM solution by curecomp. It supplements the functionalities of various ERP systems and will continue to ensure the use with different systems in the future as well.
Both Böhme & Weihs and curecomp will stay their own companies and brands. They will continue to act independently in their markets. In addition, they will additionally work closely with proALPHA from now on.

The transaction does not affect the management of curecomp in any way. At Böhme & Weihs, Prof. Dr. Böhme, Rüdiger Weihs, and Christian Zoll will continue to lead the company.
