We are pleased to announce that our company group continues to grow:
We welcome MKG BV (Metaal Kennis Groep BV), a renowned Dutch ERP provider, to our proALPHA family.
With MKG BV, we bring the number one player on the Dutch ERP market to the DACH region, thereby gaining new market shares in the field of metalworking companies of up to 100 employees. MKG's standardized cloud ERP solution optimally covers the requirements of this customer segment and I'm very proud that we're expanding our ERP portfolio with this cloud-based top player that takes the scalability of our ERP solutions to a new level.
This acquisition is truly transformational for us. It also represents the first acquisition outside the DACH region and is thus the first step toward the consistent implementation of our sustainable internationalization strategy.
The acquisition reflects a strategic decision on both sides and is driven by a long-term partnership. The various synergies range from the seamless expansion of the ERP portfolio and the related development of new market segments to opportunities for further internationalization.
With MKG BV, we have a solution on board that corresponds to state-of-the-art technology and top-notch quality. We're also building on an already very successful track record in the German-speaking market from day one. Our goal is to bring MKG even closer to the DACH region because we are convinced that this will open up a very attractive market segment with additional growth potential in the established proALPHA home market. Besides having the same industry focus, we and MKG share a common technological basis with Progress.
MKG will continue to act in its target markets and carry on its success story in the DACH region under the current management team. I am very happy that the experienced and successful management will continue to accompany the future development of the company and report directly to me.
